MY MENTOR/ MY GURU

A new born baby's mind is like a blank sheet of paper.... or in this high tech era like a blank brand new computer that needs a soft ware that already has a memory stick. Our parents are our mentors, gurus, teacher, shrink, counsellors, friends, and partners. They are the first teachers, whom our creator( God) chose for us. They educate us, as we grow within the capacity we can absorb and have the commitment to put our will in all that they teach us. they makes the choice to show the us the world and starts filling our empty mind with ideas, how to explore the world around us. Our rights and wrongs are judged by others and reflects on our parents. what we first learn as a child passes from one generation to the other. "The child who grows into an adult and has the ability to listen to their mentor without doubt and does what they teach them willingly and patiently, sees the light of success". Disobedience is the first step to darkness, it is like a fused light bulb that by default can not function. . They are like the bulb, their brains like switch button, their thoughts are electric wires and their vision like the new light. When the switch is on, the wire transfers its current to the bulb, it lights up the room and in its brightness we see the true path. My advice to everyone is to search for the right mentor but have the eyes to see, maybe its within you or between you and your creator, if not then someone is walking along with the light/torch, follow them... you will find the path or your goal of success. love you all

SUCCESS

“Success lies not in the result but in the Effort….of appreciating and being grateful to all those who made an effort for us to succeed to our goals”.“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” My daughter asked me today to style her hair, I am not a professional hair stylist, but I took the pair of scissors and started to style her hair, abruptly I heard her saying -"Oh! no not this way." I stopped what I was doing and told her since she does not have faith in me, she better do it herself. After sometime she realised, that I was doing the right thing and can not do it herself, nor she has no enough money to pay to the hair dressing salon. she came back to me and apologised, Firstly for not trusting me, for not appreciating what I was doing for her. I accepted her apologies but for next she should try and remember the key word "THANK YOU", "I TRUST YOU AND I APPRECIATE FOR YOUR TIME". When I finished doing her hair that looked amazing, she felt good and said "Thank you mom, it looks great, you are so talented" which made me feel good. “I would repeatedly say, that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.” Then I took her for coffee and along with my coffee drink shared few words of wisdom with her.The six most important words: (I admit I made a mistake). The five most important words: (You did a great job). The four most important words: (What is YOUR opinion?) The three most important words: (If you please.) The two most important words: (Thank You.) The one most important word: (We.) The least important word: (I) after listening to these words of wisdom she thanked me and said she would share them with her other friends, because it is hard to have someone in life, who can take time or make an effort even to guide you, listen to you or to help you. Therefore I thought of sharing these key words to success.
God gives us sustenance every seconds of our life. How many times have we said “thank you GOD", If we can not thank our creator-GOD, we can never thank anyone. This universe is constantly obliging us is taken for granted, we do not appreciate all the goodness it has for us. People do favors and help each other, but the recepient forgets to appreciate and be grateful for all those favors. Then soon they are struck by misfortune and become a failure. Their arrogance make them forget to say the keywords -"Oh it was great thank you", "I loved it thank you", I thank you for everything you have done for me. I find that the more willing I am to be grateful for the small things that life gives me, the bigger stuff just seems to show up from unexpected sources. I am constantly looking forward to each day with all the surprises that keeps coming my way!. I want the same for you all My friends, who will read this and understand what I have to share in this blog.

DREAMS

Dream is the language of the subconscious mind. It is the expression of your body, mind and spirit. Every dream signifies something of your real life emotions.........some are prophetic dreams and some are related with your life. The bible says "God spoke to his people in dreams"like Jacobs ladder"but does He speak to us in the same manner now?-well perhaps YES, its how we understand the language and interpret our dream signs. Understanding your dream signs is the key....they all mean something of your emotional side, even they are giving you some guidance, or warn you perhaps help you make important decisions. Cleopatra dreamt that Cesar should not go to "The Sennett" because she saw bad signs in her dream. She understood the language and signs of her dream and warned her husband for not to attend the Sennett. Some times you dream for your loved ones too, even if they are no more in this world. I always dream of my late mother and when ever I dream of her I take the signs and realise that her coming into my dream is indicating my domestic situation good or bad. Another example of my life's experience is once when I was on a cross road and could not make up my mind what decision I should make, so that night I prayed to God to help me with my decision making..i know you all will think this is funny but that night I dreams and got the signs in my dream and next morning when I woke up I did what I felt God meant me to do, there you are I got the guidance and proceeded with my decision. Remember no one can be better judge of your dreams than you yourself. There are people who understand the language and signs of the dream. One thing that I would like to warn everyone is not to reveal your dream to anyone except to the one you can trust. When Joseph in the colorful coat had a dream that all the planets and constellation are bending in a line in front of him.......he spoke to his father of his dream.immediately his father knew that his son is going to be someone big in high rank. he told his son not to speak of his dream to anyone before they throw an evil spell on him. The son did as he was told and few years later Joseph became the minister of Egypt and did dream interpretation for Pharaohs...for more topic on dream write to me and I shall tell you more.

BULLYING AND ESTEEM

'How can I stand up to bullies AND exert a little more control in situations that are important to me? This is not unusual.........we all go through this all the time until we fix it ourselves by saying to ourselves "enough is enough' and become more able to resist the pressure and dominance of excessively dominant people. The fact is that most excessively dominant people are usually bullies. Bullies are deep-down very insecure people. The bully gets his or her own way. They dominate because they are too insecure to allow other people to have responsibility and influence, over them, like FEUDALISM one of our sociological problem. It is not a natural behaviour for those who are not naturally assertive TO SUPPRESS those who tend to be passive by nature. The assertive behaviour of highly dominant people ( bully's) tends to be driven by their personality, they have severe problem of insecurity. It is not something that they have been 'trained' but circumstances compell them to satisfying their ego and selfishness that drives them to get their own way.... to control, to achieve status, to manipulate, make decisions, build empires, to collect material signs of achievement, monetary wealth, and particularly to establish protective mechanisms, such as 'yes-men' followers. Immunity from challenge and interference, scrutiny, judgement, etc such conditions make them into becoming over dominating. They are not nice people because a 'Good person" does not 'dominate' non-assertive people. They always include others and involve them in doing what they do. Dominance as a style is not good in any circumstances, it fails completely to make effective use of team-members' abilities and their potential weak. ( putting their esteem down)
The key to break this is not really so hard, just use simple techniques that can even be quite enjoyable and fulfilling such as......... don't be fooled into thinking that you always have to be more assertive, you can be non-assertive and that is normal. Just understand where you want to be in life.: what level of assertiveness do you want for yourself? whether to defend yourself or to control your own choices and destiny, and not to control others. Feel sympathy for bullies - they actually need it. build your self-confidence....by reading inspirational things that reinforce your faith and proper values in your own natural style...do not speak unless you ensure that you know all the facts in advance.... Anticipate other people's behaviour and prepare your own responses...be smart in doing that.....use good questions to expose flaws in other people's arguments or else do not say anything sit quietly. .. Find out what your strengths and style are and use them to defend and support your position....have faith in your ability and see how it works to your advantage. .

HAND FULL OF GRAINS AND FIST FULL OF DEEDS

Opportunities to do good are usually disguised as hard thing to do, so most people don't recognize them just give a blind eye and a deaf ear. Every oppertunity is like single grain, one by one when put together it becomes a handful of blessings. The best preparation for good deed is to intend. Tomorrow is too late, you should do good work today, Great ideas originate in the muscles, don't forget that good deeds spotlights the character of the person: some people open up their close fist, and some turn their backs, abaove all some don't open their eyes at all to pick the chance to gain the bonus point. It's a shame that the only thing a man can do for 17 hours a day is to think of themselves . He can't eat for hours; he can't drink for hours; he can't make love for eight hours, but he can do for eight second is do a good deed by thought, action, and words.

PEACE& SUCCESS

For behind all imperialism is ultimately the imperialistic individual, just as behind all peace is ultimately the peaceful individual. learn to make peace with everyone.................see the progress. Those who are at war( (revenge, hurt, pain, anger and unforgiving) with others are not at peace with themselves and forget that they belong to each other. Ours should be a peaceful partnership in ups and downs, thick and narrow path. Every project we undertake should be like we consummate a marriage, that is based on faith, trust and confidentiality. Nobody can bring you down but you yourself, so making-up and be friends with all mankind, this is the wisest policy, and I wish we may be permitted to pursue it in peaceful way. Just smile and see how it takes away all wars and brings positive light and give you liberty and tranquillity. Who knows our journey to success is of a thousand miles and each step must be taken with courage, go one step at a time. Yes, we love success, who does not, its the opium of hi and lo...... but we are not willing to take hardship it takes to reach there. Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other. Defeat is not the worst of failures. Not to have tried to succeed in what you do, is the true failure. You lay a firm foundation to succeed, no matter if others have to throw bricks at you. I have seen people Developing success from their failures, even though, everyone has discouraged them and said they were a failure. Basically they were being negative and those who took it positively fought back and proveed them wrong and succeeded. The key to this was to be just focused, and do what you love and believe in, success came naturally. Fame and success are two different aspect do not confuse them. Just as Madonna is one; Helen Keller is the other. If I know the key to success, it is by not trying to please everybody. - Just practise to rise early, work hard, your lip zipped and strike...... basic Formula for success:

Why we Love and Lust

I was asked by a friend why do we love? are we created that way? or is it because the neurons in our body thrives on love? Ever since we are born we need love and hence never grow out of it.But science looks at it with different view. They consider this feeling of love as a desire that is abstract, emoting emotions from within us. As we have different parts of our body, so do we have different emotions sparked by various types of hormones that influence the system of our mind, feelings, senses and moods, giving different signal to different parts in our body.

From birth we grow to be loved, and as we grow older and change, so does the need and desire for love. Each different part of our body, Mind(brain) and soul has different desire and age span. This change in men is different from women, therefore its shakes up our long embedded beliefs, that men and women are same. Men certainly don't think or act like women, nor do they match their strong physical strength with women. Perhaps more crucial is the neurons, which like all cells in the brain deteriorates and looses its efficiency.
why we love.... Love is an abstract feeling that Sparks up by errant hormones as it rises, then it slows down with time and age, for some its dies off its natural death, some are strangled to death and some are stolen away. These Sparks elements are two characters hormones like, "testosterone" found more in high or low level in men and "estrogen" in women. These two hormones directs our decisions to love and Lust, the contact, touch and lust for sex.

While spiritual research to this is quite different, some one very well quoted that....."A man reserves his true and deepest love not for the species of woman in whose company he finds himself sexually electrified and en kindled, but for the one, in whose company he may feel tenderly drowsy and healed. All religious preachings carry the same message, that love is but a compassion and forgiveness, and they should be a part of our daily food for our lives. I was reading a life of Buddha where he says........'Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word of Love that brings peace".

As for our body or physical needs, we want or desire beautiful clothes, luxury items and mouth watering food, similarly for the need of our souls, we need love. Both elements like Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them this planet cannot survive. we need love and compassion as our soul food for eternity. Christ said "Love thy neighbour as thyself"
And I say, A loving soul is the beginning of all happiness and joy.

RAMADAN

The holy month for all Muslims, I call it the month of detoxification of body, mind and soul. Fast from dawn to dusk to detox your body from food and drinks, alcoholism, smoking, even water for 30 days. Simultaneously you detox yourself spiritually by not indulging into gambling, gossiping, refrain from anything evil in thoughts, words and action. As the day goes along remembering God (Allah) almighty the creator to look upon us with His mercy and forgiveness for better life in this world and after. Fasting is tough, but opens up our mind to know how much we take everything around us for granted. We eat, speak and act as we desire whether it is right for our mind, body and soul. You give up going to clubs, and bars for the entire month, the whole idea of dressing sense change, you start to dress modestly and patiently wait until dusk to put the right food into our body. The desires for favourite food fill the mind and signals the empty stomach that starts to make various sounds, each moment gets harder and harder, the real test of patience. Whether I am enjoying Ramadan the answer is 'Yes" I love the change and shock myself from monotony......It does take my mind to God and connects you to the unknown which is the ultimate answer.

nature

Nature is our true teacher. The body throws out all that is not good for its survival. Our souls react the same way, It reacts to the negativity we create around us.......and this shows through our eyes. When God created Adam He put His spirit in his body, Spirit of God abides in Human body, that means Our bodies are the temple in which Gods spirit lives, until its time. We are the caretaker of this temple, we can not put anything negative in this temple. the temple needs to be kept pure and clean. Our eyes are its window, though which we reflect the state of the temple. I feel sorry for those ignorants who misuse the importance of this body and presence of Gods spirit within this temple. Don't go searching for God from one end of the world to the other corner of the world.........he is within us 24/7, he does not slumber, nor shuts the doors on us. He is constantly guarding us against any harm, nothing can enter or exit from us without His knowledge and permission. Praise to God for His mercy and Almighty powers over all things. Like all good things of the world we love to possess, we should possess the goodness by our actions to feed our souls.

Souls have eyes too

what you see through the eyes nourishes the soul, Eyes are the window to spirituality and mind. You read, hear and speak, those words accordingly nourish your mind and soul and influence your behavior. For instance like Bitterness that is negative energy it grows inside you like cancer. It eats upon the host, similarly anger is like fire. It burns it all clean. Words, action and thoughts all three have different reaction to the body, mind and soul. The Blind does not have the eyes to see, and the deaf has no ears to hear, the aura and energy around them acts as a membrane of positivity and negativity, and accordingly they react............Khalil Gibran says "I love you when you bow in the mosque, kneel in your temple and pray in the church", he forgot to mention one thing that we bow, kneel and pray in the house of God, to thank Him for the graces and ask for our daily sustenance. You are what you eat by means of food, words, action and thoughts...your mind, body and soul all, eat what your eyes choose to thrive on. Therefore what I emphasis on, is choose right type of food that can nourish for all three aspects of your mind, body and soul. all food rules the mind.

Soul

food for soul-we eat what looks good to our eyes, but the soul does not think that way, it needs spiritual nourishment for its growth. It sees through shut eyes and can sense what is nourishing for the growth.
